There’s a good chance that later this week you’re gonna make some New Year’s resolutions, some goals to improve yourself and how you live. And there’s a good chance that later this year you’re gonna break those resolutions. What happens then is the real test of self-improvement. You can either fall apart and let one day of one too many donuts turn into a dozen days of a dozen too many donuts, or you can recognize the slip-up for what it is – a temporary setback and a mistake that, while unfortunate, doesn’t have to thwart all the success you have had and will have.
Remember: you do nay have to be perfect; you just have to be trying.
