Courage is not the absence of fear.  Courage is the ability to face fear, doubt, and uncertainty, to acknowledge them, to feel them, but then, in spite of them, not in absence of them, to choose faith, hope, and perseverance.  Courage is to choose, fear not withstanding, to do what you believe in your heart to be the right thing.  Some of the most courageous acts are accomplished by the men and women who have felt the most fear.
